After interning for two summers, I was asked to return as an instructor for the nonprofit Visual Arts Center of Richmond (VisArts); I created two courses for the children's summer ArtVenture program. I developed the curriculum for each Artist-a-Day course, a concept continued by other VisArts instructors. As the photos show, I enjoy encouraging children to explore their imaginations and express their creativity.
Studio Daisho LLC, a music composition and sound production company, hired me to clarify its business identity through website redesign. I modified the aesthetics, navigation, and page layout of its existing website. Additionally, I wrote copy, edited photographs, created new webpages, and provided marketing advice.
Note: Studio Daisho LLC is no longer in operation.
Named "Best Regional Startup 2015," PartyRVA is an online marketing tool for special occasion planning. Its founder requested a media kit, a brand book cover, and an award icon for its online vendors. A few examples are included below.
Note: PartyRVA has been rebranded OccasionGenius.
For the nonprofit Metropolitan Richmond Woman's Club (MRWC), I improved its existing logo and developed the president's annual theme logo. I designed the layout of the club's handbook, newsletter, and volunteer apron, which incorporated these logos. I also instructed the club officers on best practices for logo placement and use.
